Ultimately, the book's goal is to champion the belief that the pursuit of love, despite its challenges, is the truest victory of all—a journey that enriches our lives and draws us closer to God and His plan for our lives, families, and world.

Meet Pastor Q

Pastor Q and his wife, Angela, and a group of friends planted Hope City Church in the fall of 2015 in their hometown of Waterloo, Iowa.  Their vision is to help people know God, find community, discover purpose, and make a difference. Today, Hope City Church is a fast-growing, multi-ethnic, multi-site church in Iowa’s Cedar Valley. For multiple years, Outreach Magazine has recognized Hope City as one of the 100 fastest-growing churches in America. Pastor Q is a coach to Pastors, community leader and works nationally with the government, agencies, and families impacted by crime. Pastor Q and Angela have two children.

Our marriages will get better as we get better. Marriage counseling is important but God's word will ensure that our marriages win.

Meet Pastor Angela

Pastor Angela is the co-founder of Hope City Church, working alongside her husband since the church’s beginning. Angela loves to serve the little saints through children’s ministry as the Director and to help women in the Body of Christ know their true identity as daughters of the King. Her deepest desire is to proclaim Jesus as Lord of all and lover of our souls. Together, she and Pastor Q have two children.
